Having all the specialized professionals and equipment in one place means that the care is sure to be the best it can.
What does an orthopedic company do? Well, an orthopedic company will manufacture orthopedic prosthetics, appliances and implants. Orthopedic appliances are also called orthotics. Some examples are braces, splints, and collars. These are manufactured by orthopedic companies.
Some orthopedic companies will also manufacture prosthetic limbs such as arms and legs. These need to be custom designed, as do some other orthotics, and the fit is critical, so orthopedic companies must be very specialized and experienced in what they do.
